Children's Cooperative Playschool Admissions
The Children's Co-op considers all children and families equally for admission, regardless of race, nationality, ethnicity, family structure, or social and economic background. While doing this, we also seek to admit families that are in harmony with the philosophy of the school and are seeking the experiences offered as members of a cooperative. We consider how each child might benefit from our school, as well as what each child and parent can contribute to the school community.
An important step in the admissions process is to visit the school with your child. Visiting allows you to meet the teachers and the director, see the school in operation and address questions. Tours are offered on Monday-Friday mornings at 11:45 am. (or by appointment). To schedule a tour email firstname.lastname@example.org. (If your child does not come on this initial visit, we would like you to make another appointment to visit us!)
If you do not live in the area but would still like to be considered for admission to the Playschool, please call our director at (919) 403-0121 or email email@example.com to receive more information. Even though you cannot visit our school in person, we want to be able to share information and learn more about your child and family.

We are currently enrolling for Fall 2022 for ages eighteen months -5 years.
Notification of admission or waiting list placement generally occurs via email. Once offered admission, we ask that you confirm your acceptance of the space within one week by submitting an Enrollment Agreement form, a one-time, non-refundable enrollment fee of $100, and the annual supply fee.
Tuition and Fees
Fees and tuition rates are effective through the 2022-23 academic year.
We require the following fees prior to your child attending the Playschool:
A $25 application fee, payable by cash, check, or Venmo at the time of application.
A $100 non-refundable one-time enrollment fee payable upon your child’s acceptance to hold their space.
A refundable deposit of $325.
A non-refundable annual supply fee determined by multiplying the number of days per week the child attends the Playschool by $50 (e.g. a child who attends three days per week pays a $150/annual fee).
Monthly tuition rates for the 2022-2023 academic year are as follows:
One year old Toddler class (18 month-young 2s): Dewdrops
2 days a week (T/Th): $270
Two Year Olds: Ladybugs
3 days a week(M,W,F): $387
Two Year olds: Sunbeams

*Please note that our tuition reflects the fact that our traditional school day runs 9-1 and our school year is on average 2 1/2 weeks longer than other traditional preschool programs.
