Hi Wildflower Families --
As March ends, so does the “Madness.” Our unit for the month of the rest of March and April is Spring and our first theme is weather. So this week, the forecast is completely imaginative: we’ll paint a giant rainbow, create an enormous sun, make a huge cloud with puffs and raindrops to fall from our cloud. If we have time, we make umbrella mobiles, too. We’ll also learn the the signs for “weather,” “sun,” “rain,” “lightening,” and “snow” and this little diddy:
THREE LITTLE RAINDROPS
Three little raindrops sitting in a cloud.
The first one said, "The thunder sure is loud!"
The second one said, "The lightning's very bright!"
The third one said, "A rainbow is in sight!"
Then splash went the raindrops, down from the sky
To water all the plants and help them grow up high.
Remember, next week (April 2 through 6) is Spring Break and Monday April 9 is a teacher workday. Also, Saturday, April 14 is the Spring Consignment Sale. This is a great community event, and so please forward Susan’s brochure to all your friends with small children. Spring Break will be a good time to gather your outgrown things: clothes, books, and toys. You make 65% of the profit on the sales and the rest goes to our preschool.
Thank you for sharing your children with me,
