Hi Wildflower Families --
I enjoyed seeing everyone at the Silent Auction this week -- what a terrific event! Thank you to all the organizers for pulling off such a fun and classy evening!
The children had a great week last week, too. We enjoyed our color theme, sorting Fruit Loops, creating yellow sun collages, and making cute red cardinals and big blue whales. We talked about the letter ‘Yy’ and came up with words like “yippee,” “yellow,” “yay,” “Yari,” and “yummy.” And we learned the ASL signs for “color,” “blue,” “red,” “yellow,” and “green. It was busy!
This week in March Madness, our theme is Opposites. This is a fun theme: the children will make day-night pictures, upside down drawings, big-little handprints, and long-short chains. We’ll read Go, Dog, Go! and talk about opposite words. We’ll also play a new game called Worm. On Thursday and Friday, it will be Pajama Day! Your child may come school in his/her pajamas. (I’m wearing MY jams...) We’ll make waffles for breakfast and play in our PJs. Our letter this week is ‘Zz’!
Our next fundraiser is the Co-Op Spring Consignment Sale, and it is is scheduled for Saturday, April 14. Start gathering those outgrown clothes and toys for a chance to earn some money and raise money for the preschool too. Lastly, the membership meeting is this Thursday, March 15th at 7:00 PM.
As always, thank you for sharing your children with me --
