Our first week at our temporary location has gone amazingly well! The children have adjusted beautifully and have seemed to actually enjoy our new adventure in our new classroom, with new friends and of course, the PLAYGROUND!
Please keep in mind that we are sharing a space with the church and our classrooms are used various evenings during the week therefore it's imperative that Amy and I put our things away, cover them (at the church's request) and leave things how we found them. If your child is not finished with their lunch, please feel free to join others on the playground to socialize or finish their lunch if need be as we have more cleaning/storing responsibilities daily. Therefore a quick pick up would be greatly appreciated.
On Fridays, I will be leaving immediately following pick up as I have a weekly physical therapy session to rush off too!
This Friday, my sons, Bailey and Caden will be joining us as it's a Teacher Work Day for DPS.
Please see our plans below and I sincerely thank each and everyone of you for your support and kind words during our time of transition!
Reptiles and Pond Life
We’ll focus on reptiles and other creatures, such as amphibians, that live in and around the pond. We’ll very basically distinguish the difference between cold blooded and warm blooded animals and how they self regulate their body temperature.

Additional Info/Dates to Remember:
Please be sure that your child has appropriate shoes for the playground. The Rainbows have been thoroughly enjoying our new playground and it offers more climbing opportunities. If your child must wear “fancy” shoes to school, please send in an extra pair that make it easier for them to climbJ
