Hi all,

So it seems the majority has voted for Strawberry Picking. I've spoken to Rob (the farmer) and he suggests that we arrive around 10. They will set up two kid size picnic tables and two adult picnic tables, so we can have a picnic lunch after our hard work. They also wanted me to mention they just rescued two miniature pigs, have a doe, baby dwarf goat and two full size goats the kids can visit while we are there. If we show up around 10am that will give us a hour or more to pick berries, visit the animals and have a picnic lunch. They have a port-a-potty and a use-your-foot hand washing system out there. Rob also wanted to me to remind you that it will be chilly in the morning, so bring an extra layer of clothes. Before we meet out there I would also like to remind you to please talk to your child/ren before you arrive about not running on the plants, on the rows, and to pick the berries gently to avoid damaging anything. They are expecting another group around 2pm that afternoon, so we need to wrap things up before they arrive. Many thanks everyone and we look forward to seeing you at the farm!
