Ladybug Families -

The Ladybugs are beginning to learn the school routine. Some of the children painted
with water colors, raced toy cars on the big ramp, spent time on the big playground and
splashed in sensory table filled with glittery water. We have been spending time
with the Sunbeam class during out outside time which is a lot of fun.
The favorite book of the week was Mrs Wishy Washy's farm.

This coming week we will continue with the "Me" monthly theme and talk about our families.
Don't forget to bring a sweater or jacket this week - the weather is getting cooler.

Thank you for sharing your precious children!

Ladybugs! -

We had a short but fun week in the Ladybug room this past week... due to last Monday's holiday.
The children are getting used to their new school routine.
We played with sand, toy cars, spent time on the big playground and read great books including , Quick As A Cricket,

Looking ahead at this coming week - we will continue with the theme of My School and Me!
Please remember to bring in a (non returnable) family photo if you have not done so already.

Ladybug helpful info:

Please send your Ladybug to school with a child size backpack or school tote bag.
This week I am going to place the change of clothing that some of you left at school - back into your child's school bags.
With the Ladybugs frequent changing of clothing, the upcoming weather changes and shortage of storage space in the classroom
I think it will be best for the extra outfit to go back and fourth from home to school each school day in the Children's school bags.

So please make sure each day your child arrives to school with the following...
1) snack
2) lunch box/with beverage
3) a change of clothing (in ziplock or similar)
4) diapers if needed*
5) jacket/sweater if needed*

-Contact Information
Please make sure that you are able to be reached by phone during the school day through
the phone numbers your submitted on your emergency cards.

See you tomorrow morning!
Looking forward to a fun full week at CCP with the Ladybugs!

I hope you all are enjoying your long holiday weekend!

We had a good first week at Children's Cooperative Playschool. The children enjoyed playing outside, listening to stories - Brown Bear, Brown Bear - was a favorite!, singing songs, playing with play dough and more.

Please remember to pack a snack (we provide the water and cup for snack time in the Ladybug class) and to pack a lunch for you child in a lunch box/bag WITH a Beverage. If you child's lunch needs to stay cool please use an ice pack.

This coming week will be a short week for the Ladybugs since today is a holiday. Separation from families at drop off can be tough for the first few weeks and after any long breaks. Please remember that a quick goodbye is easier on your kiddos.

We are going to try and do PICK UP this week (if the weather cooperates) at the back deck gate. The Ladybugs will be on the deck by 12:45.

Each week we have a school wide theme. This coming week is ME! So in the Ladybug room we will continue to get to know each other!

Heads up: The following week our theme is Family so if you would please send in a photo that you don't need returned (printed from your printer is fine/ nothing fancy)

Please feel free to contact me anytime!
Thanks for sharing your precious children!
See you all on Wednesday!
